Where does our wool come from? Where does our wool come from?

Our Merino Wool Origins

Our Merino Wool are sourced directly from Mokota family-owned farms in Australia. Australian Merino wool is celebrated worldwide for its exceptional quality — incredibly soft, naturally durable, and wonderfully luxurious in a way synthetic fibers simply can’t replicate. As a renewable and biodegradable natural fiber, it stands out as one of the most sustainable choices for both woven and knitted garments.

Mokota Australia Wool Farm - OSSA

Australia’s woolgrowers are known for raising some of the world’s finest Merino sheep through mindful, sustainable farming methods. These sheep thrive on fresh air, clean water, sunshine, and open pastures — growing a brand-new fleece every year. That makes Merino wool a fully renewable resource. This beautiful fiber is made from keratin, the same natural protein found in human hair, and is one of the oldest animal fibers ever used in textiles.
